Cancellation Policy

We know there are many uncertainties right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we want to provide you with a little peace of mind.

* NEW WINTER 2020/2021 Cancellation Policy Addendum – In the event that Big Sky Resort closes the ski operations due to a “coronavirus” all unused nights that occur while the resort is closed will be refunded at 100%. As long as the ski resort remains open in the winter months, our 60 day FULL refund cancellation policy (listed below) will apply.

Full Cancellation Policy:

CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will receive a FULL refund. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation within 60 days of the arrival date or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit unless the property can be re-rented for the same amount or greater.  If you cancel during the 60 days prior to your arrival, we will open those dates immediately for rebooking and if they can be rebooked, we will refund whatever we are able to re-rent it for, up to the amount of your reservation. ** SUMMER/FALL 2020 Flexible Cancellation Policy – For all summer/fall stays, June 1-November 1, 2020, if you need to cancel for any reason 7 or more days before your scheduled arrival, we will offer a 100% refund.

*** We strongly recommend that you consider adding Generali travel insurance to your reservation. Please contact us with any questions about this travel insurance policy. If you choose to add this policy, the fee is 7.1% of the total reservation amount.

**** Reservations of 30 or more nights require a 90 day cancellation notice. When booking for 30+ nights, a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking, 30% is due 90 days before the arrival date, and the balance is due 30 days before the arrival date. If you cancel 90 or more days before your arrival date, you would receive a full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee (5% of the 20% deposit). Cancellation within 90 days of the arrival date or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit unless the property can be re-rented. If we are able to re-rent the property, we will refund whatever we are able to re-rent it for, up to the amount of your reservation, less a 5% cancellation fee.
