Description

Ski-in/ski-out to BOTH Big Sky and Moonlight Basin from this 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom + bonus room Montana Mountain Chalet. Only steps away from the Moonlight Lodge with your own private HOT TUB, this chalet offers all of the luxury and comfort that you could possibly want, with a true Montana rustic feel. This unit is equipped with a gas grill on the deck & a sled for afternoon fun and flat screen TV`s throughout. You can watch your kids sled from your back deck as you soak in the hot tub with a delicious beverage of your choice.

The Montana Mountain Chalet ski-in/ski-out multi-level Saddle Ridge sleeps 8-10 people and promises to provide the cozy escape to the `TOP of the World` that we are all looking for. The master suite is on the top level and the other 2 bedrooms, bonus room, and full bath are on the lower level. The outdoor private hot tub looks out at breathtaking mountain vistas of the Spanish Peaks Mountain Range. The main level boasts vaulted ceilings in the great room with rustic log accents, a flat screen TV, a gas fireplace, dining area, and open kitchen with breakfast bar.

Location: 1 minute walk to the Moonlight Lodge (literally walk across the parking lot), which is right next to the drop-in for the ski-in down to the lifts. You can grab your lift tickets here, there's a lovely restaurant/bar for an apres, and the view is spectacular. There are also shuttles that run back/forth from the main Big Sky Resort base (mountain village) as well as downtown Big Sky. The house: has everything you need, spacious enough for 8 people. The "bonus room" is actually a full bedroom - though it's a bit small, it has full privacy. Communication: Acra is extremely responsive, pre-, during-, and post-trip. Can't ask for a more responsive and helpful owner. Other stuff: make sure you take advantage of the Hungry Moose grocery delivery. Nothing beats getting to the house late at night and there already being snacks and beverages for a nightcap before tucking in. =)

We just returned from an amazing week in Big Sky. The townhouse was exactly as described. It was spacious, clean and perfect for our large family. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. Also, the property is truly ski in/ski out. We hope to return to this house again and recommend it without any hesitation!

We had an amazing time at the Saddle Ridge rental. The property was exactly as described and pictured. It was clean, updated, very comfortable for two families sharing. It IS a true ski in-ski out property with the bonus of having an amazing lodge within 1 minute walking distance which had everything you needed--lift tickets, restaurant, bar, and a small ski store. The owner/property manager was very helpful through the selection, booking, and check-in/check-out process. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Our family of 5 stayed in the condo in March for our spring break. While the snow was not as good as we'd hoped for, the condo was great. Clean and neat, with all the amenities we needed for the week. Access to ski lift at Moonlight Lodge was fantastic, and the hot was awesome with beautiful view of the mountains. We ate out most nights and enjoyed Olive B's and Buck's T-4 for dinner. Had lunch at Everett's a few times and it was really good too. All in all a great trip.

Just got back from an amazing week at Moonlight for some late season spring break skiing with another family. Amazing snow (much better than Colorado late season), no lift lines, and two powder days! Who could ask for more? This condo was perfect for two families (8-10 people) and had everything we needed for our week. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a coffee grinder, but we were prepared with our own. The washer and dryer were a big plus. Everything was clean, well maintained and ready for us upon arrival - no issues. Amazing mountain views out both sides of his unit. Overall the condo was great, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. What really made this a standout rental was the location. This was our first time to Big Sky, so we took a chance and stayed on the Moonlight side (as opposed to the Big Sky base area). After having a chance to explore the mountain and base areas, we could not have been happier about where we stayed. The Moonlight Lodge area was much quieter and had a more local feel to it, especially when hanging out in the lodge after a long day on the slopes. The Big Sky base area in comparison, feels much more touristy and is definitely busier. If you want to be at the Big Sky base, it's only a run or two away. We even brought our snow shoes and took a hike around the base area on our day off - beautiful! Our host was very flexible and allowed one of the families to extend their stay by a day. Thanks Acra, for a great vacation in Big Sky! We definitely plan on returning.

Our stay was amazing. None of us had ever been to Montana, but I know we will come back. The condo was everything they advertised it to be and more. It is just up the hill from the best lodge on the mountain, and the slopes. The only thing I would change would be the length of our stay, we would stay longer. We also used Black Tie Ski Rentals, they were amazing. You do pay a little extra for the service, but it is truly a worth it. Everyone that we had contact with was nice and courteous. All in all a wonderful experience.

Beautiful mountain top condo with amazing views - this holiday home has all modcons, is super comfy, warm and within an easy drive of Big Sky village centre. We had snow whilst we were there and the roads remained clear and easy to manage. Beds were very comfy with plenty of spare bed blankets if you needed them - which you shouldn't, as the house is warm and cosy. The hot tub's a lovely addition - lounging around in the hot bubbles at the end of the day was great! Highly recommend this vacation rental to families, couples, friends travelling together. If you're eating out in Big Sky, try the Hungry Moose Market cafe for soup/sarnies, the Gallatin Riverhouse for great ribs and beer!

This is a very nice condo. Furnished comfortably and stocked well. Pictures are all accurate. My 13-year-old loved the bonus room. It had the most comfortable bed ever! You are just steps to the pool/lodge. Owner is super easy to work with and quick to respond to all questions (via email for me). One "heads up." We arrived late at night and it was dark. The actual condo was very, very difficult to find in the middle of the night. Daylight hours would have been much easier, or if we were at all familiar to the area. So my recomendation is to arrive before nightfall!! :) I also recommend having groceries delivered via the Hungry Moose. The prices are reasonable and the delivery fee is well worth it. If you have kids, take them to the Basecamp at Big Sky Resort and also horseback riding, which is only about a mile away (can't recall the name of the place). The condo is an easy, roughly 50 minute drive to Yellowstone.

We just returned from 5 nights in this fantastic townhouse (with kids.. on our yellowstone family vacation)... super clean, with everything you could want and need even laundry detergent, etc... The surroundings/views are phenomenal... We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends/family. Thank you Acra for a wonderful vacation.. the townhouse was beatiful, elegant.. just as advertised in the online photos... we will miss the starry nights in the jacuzzi with the Spanish peaks in the background. It was a wonderful stay.. HIGHLY reccomend.

Condo had all the amenities & when we found something missing, we notified management & they immediately responded to our needs. Ski lifts were just a quick hop from the condo, literally the less than a minute to the lift. Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space and the condo is really well furnished. It is very convenient to Moonlight Lodge which has an excellent pool and spa that my kids really loves. We also enjoyed the Jack Creek Grille. The condo was very quiet which we appreciated after a hard day on the slopes. It is very convenient to either Big Sky or Moonlight Basin Ski Areas. Acra made sure that everything was taken care and was very helpful with any questions we had. We will be back next ski season.
