Do I need a car or can I take a shuttle?
Shuttle service is available from Bozeman to Big Sky.
We recommend
Karst Stage, www.KarstStage.com or Shuttle to Big Sky & Taxi, www.BigSkyTaxi.com. They will include a grocery visit with your shuttle service to Big Sky. You do not need a car during your stay in one of our Saddle Ridge townhomes.
There is a free local shuttle (The Skyline Shuttle) that picks up at the Moonlight Lodge every 20 minutes that will
take you around Big Sky.
4. Do I need a 4-wheel drive vehicle?
We recommend 4-wheel drive
for everyone, due to unpredictable snow conditions.
5. Where is the best place to grocery
shop?
- Albertson’s is a large grocery store on the
right, before you leave the Bozeman area, on the way to Big Sky. If you plan to cook a lot during your
vacation, this is the best place to shop. It is a large chain grocery store with better prices and options.
You can fax an order in ahead of time to Albertson’s and simply pick it up and pay on your way to Big Sky.

We highly recommend Moonlight Mountain Kids Childcare at the base of Moonlight Basin.
Our own son loved it so much that he did not want to leave at the end of the ski day. They will
take your kids to ski lessons also.

10. Where are these properties located?
All of our properties are ski-in/ski-out and are located on the ridge that divides Big Sky and Moonlight
Basin. All of the properties are ski-in/ski-out to BOTH BIg Sky and Moonlight Basin via the Iron Horse
and Pony Express chair lifts or ski-in/ski-out to Moonlight Basin via the Six Shooter lift.
11. How far is it to Yellowstone National Park?
Yellowstone National Park is approximately 45 – 60 minutes from our properties.
12. Do you recommend snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park?
Yes, if you have
never been to Yellowstone before and you are interested in seeing Old Faithful, even in the winter, we would recommend it,
